Maria arrived with Pepa, severely malnourished and their teeth suffered terribly.
Maria slowly gained weight and with that her zest for life returned.
The change in her character has been wonderful to see. She is now being fostered at a riding school where she enjoys doing exciting things with delighted young pony enthusiasts.
