A couple of days before San Juan, the magic night that marks the beginning of summer, we got two calls from SEPRONA: one about a recumbent donkey, another about a little pony with the horribly infected remainders of an eye. While Soledad, the starved and dehydrated donkey, had to be put down after arriving in Alhaurín; the little pony was treated by our vets and is now recovering here at ARCH. As we already have a horse named Pirata, he has been named Tango Popeye and sports some fancy head wraps until the wound has healed.
