An update on our mare and foal. Our “miracle baby” is now back at the Centre with his Mum Curra and thriving. The dedicated team of ARCH volunteers who have been on call during the day and sometimes well into the night have done amazing work.
Curra has had her stitches out and is looking so much better. Her curious son is busy investigating everything within reach and is growing more full of himself by the day. He has been named Leo by Lynda Wood, a long-time supporter of ARCH, who has given us an extremely generous donation to help to cover the costs of mother and baby. She explained it was “to acknowledge the total unselfishness of all working through the midnight hours, and against all odds, to save lives so precious”.
