We were fortunate to get an appointment with Christina Dreyer, a specialist in equine physiotherapy and acupuncture who treated Zingaro and gave Elly and Rocio advice on his rehabilitation. Our brave boy seemed to understand that everyone is trying to help him recover from his injury and he was very patient with all the procedures, including electronic pulse therapy, which now forms part of his daily treatment. You could see from his relaxed face that he appreciated the attention and that it gave him some relief. He is making good progress. The infection has cleared, and he is definitely trying to use the leg more as he moves. Our vet Rocio is optimistic that he will make a good recovery. He just needs time and dedicated care which he will continue to receive at ARCH.
