Our appeal has resulted in a wonderful response from our supporters, and we can’t thank you enough. Donations so far will enable us to get through the first crucial ten days. Our vet has now been to carry out an emergency assessment (in torrential rain) and, as we feared, most of the new horses have serious problems which will require on-going and long-term treatment if we are to rehabilitate them. So further funds will be vital for their future welfare.
The three geldings, the three mares, and the mini mule are settling into the Centre. They have plenty of food (thanks to an emergency hay delivery at the weekend) and have shelter from the rain which has finally arrived this week. Grooming may have to wait until the mud dries!
