We are always happy to welcome new volunteers into the ARCH family. Members of our team come in all shapes, sizes and ages (our youngest is in her teens, our oldest in his eighties). And we have many different nationalities on our list too. We all share a passion and commitment to these beautiful animals who are so often abused and abandoned. Seeing their transformations is something very special.
If you are experienced with horses that’s great, but you don’t have to be an expert in horse care, just willing to learn if you want to get involved in hands-on work. Or you can help in other ways, such as hosting our Sunday open mornings and talking to visitors, or helping at fund-raising events.
We are holding a special volunteer evening at the Centre on Wednesday July 1st from 18.30 to 20.00hrs where you can talk to current members of the team, look round the Centre, meet our rescue horses and donkeys, and generally learn about our work. We have several prospective volunteers who have already filled in volunteering forms with their details, others are welcome to join them. For more details contact us here or through our Facebook page Centro Andalusi de Rescate de Caballos.
We look forward to meeting new faces (even in masks!) and friends.
