1. I understand that a rescue horse can come with specific health / psychological issues that will be discussed during the adoption process.

2. I have the relevant, valid license (OCA license) to keep a horse at my property / I will keep the horse in a licensed livery stable

3. I agree to a home check, prior to adoption

4. I am responsible to pay for transport costs

5. I agree to paying an adoption fee

ARCH Adoption Process

1. Complete and submit the online Adoption Information Form

2. ARCH will assess your request and following approval will draw up an adoption contract, prepare travel documents and make transport arrangements

3. The adopter pays transport upfront and the non-refundable adoption fee in full

4. Transport of the adopted animal

5. ARCH arranges change of ownership if applicable

6. Periodic follow up process through ARCH

Once we receive your application we will contact you as soon as we have a suitable match for you.

The whole process can take anything from a few weeks to various months depending on paperwork and individual circumstances.
