Our newest arrival is a long-legged colt, jealously guarded by his mum Victoria. After a few worrying days, when we were not sure he would survive, the little man is now up and about and looking well. We have named him Lucero, which means bright or shining star. Little Luz de Luna in the adjoining paddock is dying to make friends but Victoria is very possessive and so far the babies have only touched noses briefly!
