Horse died in search for food...

On Friday we got a call from a lady in Mijas about some horses that were being tethered with no food and water and she informed us that one of the horses had died trying to get to some bamboo.  We went down on Saturday and what we saw was just unbelievable, all I can say is I hope it died instantly and was not in pain.  All the horses were microchipped and although we couldnt get near to the dead horse we also presume he also came from the same owner.  The horses have been looked after by a young lady and her mum and were in a ok condition but unfortunatly the same couldnt be said about the dead one.

 

We have been to the Guardia and they informed us that they would get Seprona to go and have a look and see what they can do.  We are waiting to hear but we will not stop chasing them until we know something has been done against the owner, this sort of thing should not be allowed to happen.
